Volunteer

Thanks to all walk leaders both new and old for all your contributions, it’s always nice to see new names on the leaders’ list so if you feel that you’d like to join the fraternity please speak to Mark, our walks co-ordinator. Mark is hosting a pub night specifically targeted at walk-leading and leaders at The South-Western Arms in St Denys on Thursday 16th please see the events section for full det The joint New Year trip away with the Hants 20s 30s at Dukes Barn on the Chatsworth Estate in the Peak District, from Monday 30th December 2013 to Friday 3rd January 2014 was a great success, the weather wasn’t too bad either I’m told all things considered! The Christmas Party at The Swan in New Alresford went very well, great food and atmosphere plus a cracking performance by Portaloo Sunset!

There are regular pub nights being put on now, if anybody else would like to host any additional socials such as restaurant, cinema or theatre nights please feel free to do so. December saw a big jump in membership, up 9% on November – we are the only Ramblers group in the area showing these levels of rise. Keep up the good work everybody!
